I’m a long-time resident of Vancouver Island BC with a Master of Counselling degree from City University of Seattle (Victoria campus). I’ve been a volunteer counsellor at the Citizens’ Counselling Centre in Victoria BC since 2019 and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC #21598). I am also registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA, professional member number 11244999).

As a counsellor, clients tell me I am easy to talk to, supportive, and extremely open-minded and non-judgmental. I like to focus on my clients’ strengths and how we can apply the skills, experiences, and resources you already have to the challenges you are facing. We move at your pace and in the direction that is most meaningful for you.

As an autistic lesbian and single mom, I know a little bit about managing both privilege and prejudice and I aim to bring a social justice-minded approach to my work that takes into account the oppression that many people deal with in society.
